Bug or is this supposed to be so?
If a ranger traps lets say a bridge, if you then wlak under the bridge, you get the effect of the trap, no im almost certain they did not intend this, but why is it still here then?:S its really annoying because some teams eploit this and thats not si nice

Because the game has little sense of the vertical. Not really bug. Annoying though... that's for sure. There are other instances where you can tell the game cannot distinguish between up and down as well - the trap thing is just the most prevalent.

It's a bug since Guild Wars isn't really three-dimensional. There are several threads in the Sardelac Sanitarium forum about this.

This problem also comes up in a number of PvE scenarios. For instance, in the area outside Thirsty River, there are small rope bridges. If a monster is standing under the bridge they can bodyblock you from crossing (and attack you too!) even though you should be separated by a hundred feet. Similarly, you can attack monsters at the top of towers with melee weapons if you can get close enough.
